About the Fundamentals Program

Who is the Kids and Adults Fundamentals Program for?

New and experienced riders who want to have well rounded skills to use and build upon, regardless of the terrain and riding style.

The Fundamental program is conducted over three consecutive sessions starting with Fundamental 1.

Throughout the three sessions, you’ll learn to be the pilot not the passenger, ride with flow, corner with confidence and learn manoeuvres such as wheel lifts to tackle various features on the trail.

As lots of skills rely on and relate to each other, the fundamental program has been designed with skills that work together and build upon each other.

These skills are required to ride green, blue and the occasional black trail in any type of riding or racing with confidence and prepare you for all of our other programs.

When do the Fundamentals Program run?
School Terms 1 & 3

We strongly recommend that the fundamental 1 session is completed, however, any fundamental session is the prerequisite to all other programs as this develops the minimum skills required to build upon in following sessions.
